I had hoped to do a page on Aughrim, where I spent two days over the 2013 Christmas holiday, but the weather, the short window of daylight and a host of family activities conspired against this option.

However, on the first morning, the mist obliged with a dramatic presence that gave me at least a few shots, so I'm just sharing those. They were taken from the grounds of Tinnakilly Lodge, which house is in the final photo.
