Pretty baffling really. Can you or can't you?
Clearly you can't (see shot below), but how did this happen?
What does the sign mean?
A possible explanation is that this is a linguistic breakthrough.
The sign was first drafted in Irish, where the phrase "ach amháin" was used to mean "in particular" or "especially" or even "exceptionally", none of which would be correct usage in this context. The phrase was then translated literally into English without any regard for the absence of sense.
Another explanation might be of the "my dog ate my homework" variety, but it would have to have been a very discerning bilingual dog to have carried out such a sophisticated parallel mutilation of the text.
